Fridays Are For One Question

Hopefully you’re still riding the high from Easter last week. We had a great weekend, too. Lots of memories and images in my mind to help me remember. Here’s a picture of us on Sunday morning:
How about you? That’s today’s question:
“What image will you remember from Easter this year?”
**The goal of “One Question Friday” is simple: To show that everyone has something funny, engaging, creative, and worthwhile to say. So comment away! Be real. Be creative. Think hard. And check back to see how others answered the question.

We had dinner with some very close friends, and another friend there asked an interesting question.
“Is there anyone you have personally known, other than Jesus, that’s in the Bible?”
Everyone was thinking, and it definitely had us all stumped. So, he passed around an old Bible opened to Hebrews and there in the chapter introduction was a black and white photo of him in his younger days hanging from an incredible cliff on a climbing line. He’s a great outdoorsman and was a big mountaineer back in the day, and he laughs and says “That’s me! Right there in Hebrews.” It really was an old photograph of him.
That’s the image I will remember from this Easter. haha

Sadly, I had food poisoning, so… The toilet bowl is about my only memory of Easter 2010.

We had an amazing Easter baptizing people at the beach. It will be a treasured memory.

On the way home from church, our four-year old son knocked our eight year old’s loose tooth out during an argument in the back seat. I think the image of Tanner walking into the house with a bloody tooth, stunned by the violence brought on by his younger brother, will stick with me for a little while. Other than that, Easter at Severns Valley was great! I hope you are doing well, Michael.
