We haven’t lived in our house in approximately 8 weeks due to the flooding in Nashville. Our hard-working contractor is getting it done, though, and in a couple of weeks we’ll start painting and moving back in. I have tried to convince Jana that we need to buy a display case to house various swords and knives I’ve collected while traveling internationally – perhaps a built-in version. You know, since we’re redoing the house anyway.

No dice.

Can’t imagine why.

So here’s today’s question:

“What’s the worst piece of home decorating you’ve ever seen?”

    It has to be a collection of embalming tools and “oils” in a glass corner cabinet in our house before we bought it. The previous owner was a funeral home director, and yes, despite this grisly display, we still bought the house (obviously).
