Fridays Are For One Question

More than once on the blog, I’ve bemoaned the long summer of heat here in Nashville. Consequently, I continue to anticipate the coming of fall. It’s my favorite season.
Cooler weather, great sports, leaves changing – all that stuff. So todays’ question is simple:
“What’s your favorite season?”

…the season of loving.

Fall, definitely! And Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Very little commercialism. No distracting Thanksgiving personality who’s responsibile for my blessings.

Definitely with you on Autumn.

When I lived in Alabama, we didn’t have seasons, just hot and less hot. So back then, it was fall, but only because of football. Now that we live here in beautiful NW Illinois, we have four distinct seasons-and we love them all!

Summer! Definitely summer. It’s always too short here though, and fall is nice but the benefits of that season (the colors) only last for a week before it’s winter. And the winter is long. Too long. And cold.
But just because it’s summer doesn’t mean you get sunshine. A lot of people up here say every third summer is an awesome one, and it’s true. This summer happened to be a rainy one. We broke a record set in the 50s for most consecutive days of rain. Yea… it was 30 days. That’s Alaska for ya!

I love fall for the cooler weather and the dazzling colors, and I love spring for all the wonderful shades of green and the new flowers brightening up the world after the grayness of winter.

Summer! I hate being cold. It makes all my muscles tense up and puts me in a bad mood. If I wear enough clothes to keep me warm, my whole body is stiff and I can barely move. I like not even having to check the weather in the mornings to decide what to wear in the summer. I just know it’s going to be hot, so dress appropriately. Summer, summer, summer!

I like summer, though living in TX not as much. I like being warm, but 90+ degrees is too hot for anyone to really be comfortable. And it was even too hot to swim. Maybe I’ll appreciate it more now that I’m back up north.

Depends on where I live:
Florida – “winter” – less humid, temps in the 60′s.
Nashville – Fall – 70′s, colors…what’s not to love.
Denver – so far, you can’t beat the morning/afternoon temps of summer – 60′s, no humidity. Every day…even when it gets into the 100′s. It makes for amazing workouts.

Fall. Fall. Fall. Fall.
